So I found a zergling in my bathroom

And now I can't find it to kill it.

Update: It's dead now.

I'm not really afraid of most bugs, but one of the people here is allergic to stings, and a few are afraid of bugs themselves.

Plus, I have a grudge.

do they sting?

Yeah, the hornets around here do sting. :(

I live with someone who's deadly allergic, plus they killed a cat here several months ago.

[identity profile] hazelsteapot.livejournal.com 2008-09-24 01:29 am (UTC)(link)
there are hornets that don't sting?!??!

I assume nothing. Some of them might bite or something. Or maybe have razor-edged wings.

And now I am laughing because I am mean. I told my sister about this; my sister who is afraid of bees (of all sorts) because they seek her out, chase her down, and sting her. Now she will have nightmares.
I am a very, very bad brother. ^.^

Tasers are possible, or like, they could open their mandibles and shoot more hornets, who themselves shoot lasers.

This is the start of an awesome story, just like How To Kill a Mockingbird (http://www.stanford.edu/~scodary/tkam.htm).

[identity profile] hazelsteapot.livejournal.com 2008-09-24 02:48 am (UTC)(link)
Have you read The Long Dark Tea Time of the Soul?
ext_28673: (Default)

[identity profile] lisaquestions.livejournal.com 2008-09-24 02:51 am (UTC)(link)
Yes, but it's been years since I did.

[identity profile] hazelsteapot.livejournal.com 2008-09-24 02:53 am (UTC)(link)
(it was on the theme of taking a literary work and then running with it as far as you could go)
ext_28673: (Default)

[identity profile] lisaquestions.livejournal.com 2008-09-24 02:56 am (UTC)(link)
Ah, right. Obviously I need to reread it because I keep mixing it up with memories of a series of books about a paranormal private detective who wasn't Dirk Gently.

BTW, why is your entire comment in parentheses? ;)

[identity profile] hazelsteapot.livejournal.com 2008-09-24 02:59 am (UTC)(link)
WAIT I meant Dirk Gently's Holisitc Detective Agency NOT the long dark tea time (also about DG)

[identity profile] lisaquestions.livejournal.com 2008-09-24 03:02 am (UTC)(link)
Okay. All I remember is a time machine, and maybe Thor.

It's been ages. I need to reread all of Douglas Adams' work.

Where'd my signed copy of "So Long and Thanks For All the Fish" go? :(

[identity profile] lisaquestions.livejournal.com 2008-09-24 03:02 am (UTC)(link)
Groovy!

Friended you back. :)

time machine = DGHDA; Thor = LDTTOTS

Oh dear god, that clearly shoots bees from its mouth when it barks.
